For De Amsterdamse Zomer at the Olympic Stadium, we created a unique LED content experience. We brought the iconic Amsterdam canals to life on massive LED screens, making the stadium feel like the heart of the city.

First, we built a detailed digital version of an Amsterdam canal, complete with atmospheric lighting, historic buildings, and gently rippling water. This virtual environment became the foundation for dynamic visuals that came to life on the LED screens during the event.

The result? An impressive fusion of reality and digital art, where the magic of Amsterdam blended seamlessly with the energy of live music and entertainment in the Olympic Stadium.

Seamless Transitions

Matching LED Content to Natural Light

To ensure the LED content perfectly matched the atmosphere in the Olympic Stadium, we created a detailed 3D simulation beforehand. In this model, we analyzed how sunlight and shadows would fall on the LED screen at different times of the day.

Thanks to this simulation, we knew exactly when to switch between different versions of our virtual set. We created three variations: **daytime**, **golden hour**, and **night**, ensuring the visuals seamlessly aligned with the natural lighting conditions in the stadium.

This resulted in a smooth and realistic experience, where the LED content wasn’t just a backdrop but became an integral part of the environment and ambiance of the event.
